Bunnie Xo is sounding off on internet trolls who have apparently âbulliedâ her husband, Whitsitt Chapel superstar Jelly Roll, about his weight.
Bunnie shared a teaser clip from her upcoming Dumb Blonde podcast episode set to make its debut on Wednesday (April 24). The one-minute, 11-second sneak peek on TikTok began with text over the screen reading: âThis week I go off on the podcast.. def going to ruffle some feathers & I didnât stutter.â She wrote in the caption that the conversation âwas pretty therapeutic.â
âMy husband got off the internet because he was so tired of being bullied about his f***ing weight, and that makes me wanna cry because he is the sweetest angel baby,â Bunnie said on the podcast in the video shared on Sunday (April 21). âMy husband doesnât show it to you guys, but Iâm gonna have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him. The internet can say whatever the f*** they want about you, and they say, âwell, youâre a celebrity. Youâre supposed to be able to handle it. No, the f*** weâre not. No, the f*** weâre not. âŠEnough is enough. Donât bully people because you never know where they are mentally. There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me that are on the internet and they donât deserve to f***ing be bullied.
âIâm sorry. Iâm gonna stand up for all the f***ing underdogs. Youâre never gonna bully me. Youâre never gonna lie about me or my family, and I will fight til the end,â Bunnie continued in the video on TikTok. âI love when people are like, âBunnie is a bad human. Just wait and youâll see.â Iâve been on the internet 15 f***ing years. When are they gonna see? Iâm waiting. What you see is what you get with me. I donât f***ing pretend to be something Iâm not. ...All you gotta do is leave me and my family the f*** alone, and you wonât get called out.â
Jelly Roll, who recently shared with PEOPLE that heâs lost â70-something poundsâ as he prepares for a 5K, said in a birthday tribute to his wife earlier this year that sheâs âmy anchor in every area of my life. She brings a (sense) of peace to every room she walks in. She makes people feel safe. She creates a safe place for people to tell her how they feel. She is special in every way.â
The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Artist award in both Pop and Country categories met Bunnie in 2015. Jelly Roll proposed the following year, and they got married in a spontaneous courthouse wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they renewed their vows last year.
